Chair Tests

Band Chair Tests are an important part of the CMS/DIS Band curriculum. Band Chair Tests are required and are counted towards the six weeks grade. Chair Tests will be scheduled at periodic intervals throughout the school year. Chair Tests are a “live” audition and therefore cannot be made up. Only students with a school-approved excused absence will be excused from that day’s Chair Test. Please see the “Chair Test Grading Rubric” below for information on how each Chair Test is graded.
